Job Summary
The Production & Inventory Coordinator supports production operations and inventory control to
ensure efficient workflow, material availability, and accurate records. This role works closely
with production, warehouse, quality, and shipping teams to support on-time order completion

Primary Functions:
Production Support
• Support daily production operations and workflow coordination.
• Update, distribute, and adjust production schedules as needed.
• Coordinate with production, quality, shipping, and other departments to ensure material
availability and address changes due to design updates, engineering issues, shortages, or
backlogs.
• Print routing and fabrication sheets.
• Serve as a backup to the Production Control Manager.
• Support quality initiatives, including participation in Internal Audits for the Quality Management
System.
Inventory & Materials Management
• Perform and manage cycle counts.
• Purchase raw materials and shop supplies.
• Handle and move materials to support production while minimizing damage.
• Maintain accurate and organized inventory records.
General Responsibilities
• Escalate operational issues to management when appropriate.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or management.
Primary Competencies:
• Knowledge of production scheduling basics and manufacturing workflows
• Strong cross-functional communication and coordination skills
• Attention to detail in scheduling, inventory control, and documentation
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and resolve operational disruptions; must be able to multi
task and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with quality management systems and internal audit support
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Good mathematical skills.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred
• Intermediate computer skills are required, including experience in Excel, Outlook, and
ERP systems.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment, including:
- Ability to accurately count and record inventory.
- Ability to read and interpret production schedules, prints, and bills of materials.

Working Conditions:
• Fast-paced manufacturing and warehouse environment.
• Extended periods of standing and walking.
• Bending, stooping, and lifting required.
• Frequent lifting up to 10 lbs; occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Exposure to noise and varying temperatures.
• Extended periods of sitting at a desk and using a computer and office equipment
