Minimum Qualifications
• High School Diploma/GED equivalent
• 10 years of CNC Programming experience
• Shop floor experience and intimate knowledge of milling and turning machine capability and functionality.
• Fully versed with initiating and developing CNC programs on the machine and working with machine operators to prove-out the process
Desired Skills/Characteristics
• Aerospace experience preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Associate Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering is preferred but not required
• Sense of urgency in problem resolution.
• Team player with excellent people skills
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing and machining processes as attained through CNC machine setup & operation
• Experience with MasterCam/Unigraphics NX programming for CNC Equipment and CAD modeling and programming of tight tolerance complex surfaces.
• Experience with Vericut simulation software preferred.
• Experience with Post Processing software preferred.
• Extensive experience in cutting tool technology and applications
• Experienced with aerospace alloys, Titanium, Inconel, Aluminum and Alloy Steel machining.
• Proven ability to develop, recommend and implement process and manufacturing improvements
• Excellent office computer skills – Adobe, Microsoft Outlook, Word, Project and Excel
