Job Duties and Responsibilities Supervise Yard Jockeys and assign tasks as necessary Ensure that all safety protocols are implemented and followed Oversee the Sub-Contracted personnel checking in and out drivers and the loads. Communicate with truck drivers, warehouse staff, and management to ensure smooth operations. Implement and enforce policies and procedures Maintain records and reports on yard activities Participate in hiring and training of yard personnel Maintain Equipment operation readiness. Conduct regular checks and coordinate repair on trailers and equipment to prevent breakdowns. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required, bachelor's degree preferred 3-5 years of experience in a similar role Excellent organizational and communication skills Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively Proficient in using Microsoft Office and other basic computer skills YMS experience preferred Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures The Yard Coordinator should be a responsible and detail-oriented individual who is able to work well under pressure and maintain a positive attitude.   Position Requirements Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods of time Ability to lift to 50 pounds Ability to work in various weather conditions   Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time   Shift Days   Salary   Position Yard Coordinator   Division East Coast Warehouse & Distr.
