A fantastic opportunity for skilled EEG or Sleep techs who want autonomy, variety, and extra income!   Opportunity Description:  NeuLine Health is seeking an experienced EEG and/or Sleep technician with EEG/Sleep experience to administer in-home EEG routines, hook-ups, uploading, and disconnections for video studies.  A separate team monitors once the patient is hooked up. Our Field Tech must be able to work independently, have basic computer knowledge, excellent communication and organizational skills. Experience with 10/20 electrode placement is a major benefit.   Responsibilities include but not limited to:  Administer in-home EEG hook-ups, disconnections, interpretable EEG recordings that will yield information about the brain’s neuronal activity  Conducting EEG hookups using a 10/20 electrode system  Maintains patient safety during clinically significant events, and other related duties  Practicing within the realm of HIPAA compliance at all times  Other duties as assigned  Reports to:  Manager of Technician Services  Environment:  Ambulatory/home health patient care.  Road warrior   Location:  Patient visits according to your desired geographical area(s)    Schedule:  PRN - as needed. It will be dependent on the demand on the geographical area.     Shift Days   Job Details -Pre-screen studies conducted on patients in their homes-Enter patient demographics & exam details into a report format for the Neurologists review   Position Requirements Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: 1-2 years of work experience in EEG/Sleep studies REQUIRED. Experience with 10/20 electrode placement, preferred. Professional demeanor. Ability to naturally demonstrate care and compassion. Flexibility to care for patients in their home environment.   Education and/or Certifications: Board Registered electroencephalogram (EEG) or polysomnographic (Sleep) RPSGT / BRPT technologists. (NOT REQUIRED) Current Basic Life Support (REQUIRED).
