Accent Controls, Inc. (ACI) is seeking a Truck Driver - Tractor Trailer for the Defense Logistics Agency Distribution, located in Cherry Point, North Carolina. Warehouse workers will work closely with Government and other contractor employees.
Primary Responsibilities:
The Truck Driver - Tractor Trailer operates a wide variety of vehicles to include wheeled vehicles, tracked vehicles, forklifts, and special purpose equipment. Straight truck more than four tons, usually 18 wheels; capable of driving Medium vehicles (one-and-a-half to four tons, usually six wheels) and Light vehicles (Less than one-and-a-half tons, usually four wheels). Able to inventory, ensure accountability, and read and process documentation.
Qualifications:
Must have working knowledge of securing loads and be safety conscious. Must be physically fit and able to lift and carry a minimum of 60 pounds. Must have a good driving record for a three-year period and pass a physical and drug test
Required Credential/Licensures: CDL (Commercial Drivers License)
Education: Technical Training Required; HS Diploma. May substitute one year of relevant experience for one year of education.
