Given the lean structure of the team, this role carries meaningful visibility with senior leadership and requires someone who can communicate confidently and credibly at that level. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who can make contributions of their own while helping our team members develop.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Development

  • Directly manage and mentor FP&A Analysts, providing guidance that builds on our team’s culture of positivity, curiosity, and continual improvement.

Financial Reporting & Planning

  • Lead the production of regular monthly reporting and re-forecasting.
  • Help drive the coordination and consolidation of the annual budgeting process across departments.
  • Support the Director and CFO in the development of multi-year financial plans, translating strategic initiatives into tangible projections.

Modeling, Analysis & KPIs

  • Maintain and improve the company's core KPI framework, ensuring we’re looking at the things that matter and presenting them in a clear way.

  • Utilize Python and/or SQL tools to enhance data gathering, transformation, and modeling capabilities.

Communication & Presentation

  • Prepare and refine presentations that translate financial data into clear narratives for senior leadership.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for cross-functional partners on financial questions and reporting needs, representing the finance team credibly in the absence of the Director.

Qualifications

Required

  • This is an onsite position that requires being in-office 5 days/week at Airrosti's headquarters in San Antonio
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in financial planning & analysis or related finance role/s.

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present to non-financial audiences.

  • Proficiency in Python or SQL for data extraction and transformation.

What We're Looking For

  • Beyond the technical requirements, the ideal FP&A Manager embodies the following:
  • Hands-on and engaged — you do the work alongside your team, not just oversee it.
  • Proactive communicator — you surface insights before they're asked for.
  • Builder mindset — you look for ways to make the team more effective, not just maintain the status quo.
  • Developing others — you find genuine satisfaction in helping analysts grow.
