As we continue to expand nationwide, we are seeking a strategic Regional Director of Human Resources to lead and support our growing hotel teams from our New York City base.

Job Summary: The Regional Director of Human Resources will serve as the primary HR leader for a diverse and expanding portfolio of hotels across the U.S., overseeing union and non-union properties, including both major hotel brands and independent concepts. This role requires a strategic and hands-on leader who excels in labor relations, talent development, compliance, and cultural alignment. The ideal candidate will bring depth of HR experience within the hospitality industry and a passion for fostering engaged and empowered hotel teams.

Job Duties and Functions:

  • Lead HR operations and provide strategic guidance for a multi-state portfolio of union and non-union hotels.
  • Serve as the primary liaison for hotel GMs and operations leaders on all human resource-related matters.
  • Oversee labor relations, including collective bargaining, union negotiations, and contract compliance.
  • Support talent acquisition, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, and organizational development across properties.
  • Ensure consistent administration of payroll, benefits, and compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations.
  • Partner with leadership to develop and execute training programs that align with company values, brand standards, and operational goals.
  • Champion a positive, inclusive workplace culture rooted in accountability, creativity, and team development.
  • Maintain HR metrics, conduct audits, and provide insights to inform company-wide strategies and initiatives.
  • Travel as needed to support hotel openings, team training, and HR escalations at hotel sites nationwide.

Required Skills, Experience and Knowledge

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (required).
  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive HR leadership experience in the hospitality industry.
  • Proven success in managing union environments and collective bargaining agreements.
  • Experience with major hotel brands (e.g., Hilton, Marriott, Hyatt) and independent/boutique hotels.
  • Solid knowledge of payroll systems, benefits administration, and multi-jurisdictional compliance.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels.
  • Experience in training and development is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel up to 30% to support regional operations and hotel initiatives.

Salary Range: $165,000 - $195,000 annually, depending on experience
