ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Stock and maintain tortilla food area
· Handles, stores and rotates food items properly.
· Practice correct food handling and food storage procedures according to federal, state,
· Responsible for hand wrapping and packaging of quality corn or flour tortillas.
· Check the appearance and quality of tortillas.
· Check bags to make sure the proper packaging is being used.
· Inspect tortillas to make sure they are free of foreign materials or contamination.
· Review tortilla orders and request for accuracy.
· Clean tortilla work area (sweep, mop, and clean equipment).
· Wear proper safety and sanitation gear (hairnets and gloves).
· Place final packaged tortillas in coolers for delivery.
