All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status or any other characteristic protected by law.   Category Warehouse Operations   Description JOB TITLE: INVENTORY CONTROLL & DELIVERY DRIVER DEPARTMENT: SHIPPING REPORTS TO: SHIPPING DEPARTMENT MANAGER SHIFT: MONDAY-FRIDAY 7AM-3:30PM HOURLY RATE: $15.25   SUMMARY: This position is responsible for loading, unloading, and delivering supplies and materials to customers in an accurate and timely manner; efficiently and safely transport, sort, and stock materials while maintaining accurate inventory control. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Loads and unloads company vehicle after completing deliveries. Performs simple vehicle maintenance; cleaning interior of vehicle, checking lights, checking tires, filling fluids, and notifying manager when routine maintenance is required to keep vehicle running properly. Delivers goods to clients while Interacting with the customer in a professional manner. Collects required signatures for payment, proof of delivery, and gives receipts to customers and return all required documentation to appropriate company officials. Observe all traffic laws and posted speed limits. Receives deliveries from parcel and freight customers and verifies shipment information. Ability to complete cycle counts, use inventory control methods, inspect labels and barcodes. Ability to cross train and assist Shipping Department as needed. Required to train to use Syspro, the company inventory control system. Performs other related duties as assigned by management. Must have a valid driver’s license (driving background check required) Ability to use a pallet jack (training will be provided). Ability to work with minimal supervision. Strong interpersonal skills. Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions. Basic computer skills required. Manufacture experience preferred but not required.   PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT: Continually required to stand and walk. Frequently required to sit. Continually required to utilize hand and finger dexterity. Frequently required to climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel or crawl. Continually required to talk or hear. Continually utilize visual acuity to operate equipment, read technical information, and/or use a keyboard. Continually required to lift/push/carry up to 50 pounds. Occasionally exposure to wet and/or humid outside weather conditions. Occasionally work near moving mechanical parts.
