This individual must have a high degree of drive and dedication, the ability to learn quickly, and be able to contribute as part of our team. Working towards a B.S. degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Imaging Science, Physics, or equivalent, with sufficient coursework and/or practical experience in programming. Requires experience with programming languages and systems including some combination of Python, Java, C/C++, Matlab, scripting, and Linux. Bonus for experience or skills in any of the following areas: Digital Signal Processing. Machine Learning applications and tools such as Edge ML, TensorFlow, Keras, scikit-learn, or PyTorch. Data science concepts and tools such as Pandas, normalization, inferential approaches, pattern/cluster processing, regression, and data mining. Demonstrable experience in applying best practices in software engineering. Imaging Science experience in imaging technology, processing techniques and classification. Must be able to think independently and solve algorithmic design puzzles effectively in code. As a possible on-ramp to full-time employment, candidates must be able to meet TS/SCI clearance eligibility requirements.
