Key Responsibilities: Our Commercial Truck Technicians keep the transportation industry rolling and safe! Qualified candidates will be safety minded and ready to help customers in their highest time of need. What you will do: Maintain STO's standard of professionalism and customer service Determine truck/trailer condition by inspection, diagnostic testing, and identifying worn, damaged parts Perform preventive maintenance and repair work as necessary and keep up with vehicle inspection reports and maintenance records Ensure compliance with Federal and state vehicle repair requirements Other duties may be assigned as needed Salary: Competitive base wage starting at $25 hour Bonus opportunity with 70% Efficiency Paid weekly What we offer: 401K with company contribution and rollover opportunity Paid time off after 90 days and seven paid holidays a year Medical, Prescription, Vision, and Dental Insurance Company paid Short Term Disability Employee Assistance Program HSA Company Contribution Company paid Life Insurance Wondr Health weight loss program Healthcare Bluebook to shop for affordable care in your area Long Term Disability option Voluntary Critical Illness, Accident, and Hospital Indemnity Company Uniforms and PPE Gear provided Employee Discount Program for travel, entertainment, hotels and more   Position Requirements What you need to know and have: Consistently maintain 70% Efficiency rating in mechanics Certification from Diesel Mechanic School, or 3 years related experience Must possess own tools including hand tools, impact guns, and other pneumatic tools Ability to work in a fast-paced, physical environment, must have the ability to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively. Must be able to lift, twist, push/pull, bend, squat, climb, stand, and walk for extended periods of time Must have a valid Driver’s license, a clean driving record, and the ability to drive a commercial pickup truck including F250 or F350 When you will work: Monday-Friday 8:30 am – 5:00 pm Overtime as needed   Company Benefits Great benefits package, including Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance.
