Help to provide a top quality, safe and wholesome products) that meet all of our customer's requirements & specifications. To help expand the knowledge of plant operations personnel as it relates to quality, processing, and logistics.

To learn accurately test, monitor, and document quality results & processing data for products produced.

Audit, verify and follow-up process controls such as weight checks, batch sheets, HACCP, plant inspections, receiving, ect.

Support process variations as they relate to formula adjustments to satisfy customer requirements.

Maintain a high and effective level of communication with all operating departments.

Learn to operate, calibrate, and maintain lab equipment.

Comply and assure that all GMP, Safety, Sanitation, and housekeeping practices are being followed according to expectations, as well as all other Company policies are required.

Learn to understand and apply the functionality of the Unshippable Program.

Actively utilize the AS400 computer system for necessary quality functions.

Maintain & complete files and documentation accurately and timely.

Work toward gaining the knowledge and understanding of our crystallizing & tempering process for oils and margarines.

Position Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent. A Bachelors degree or equivalent experience of 2 years in a food manufacturing lab environment, preferably in fats and oils is required.

Must possess excellent problem solving and math skills. Good organizational skills required. Possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work with minimum supervision and ability to be a self-starter are important. Should have good inter-personal skills, with the ability to interact with all levels. A team player.
