Supervise daily plant operations, including production and sanitation functions. Working with all departments to ensure department goals and standards are met. Conduct plant inspections. Insure that entire plant remains operational ready for scheduled and unscheduled audits by either regulatory agencies or customer sponsored inspection groups. Develop and implement training and cross training programs for Production and Sanitation Department employees. Routinely participate in daily post cleaning inspections and microbiological sampling. Review Sanitation records, CIP charts, CIP flow rates and chemical concentrations for accuracy. Develop and monitor the Production and/or Sanitation Department labor & supply budget. Monitor and document process equipment condition through scheduled Food Safety preventive maintenance and inspections. Comply and Enforce Company Policies & Procedures on all Human Resource Policies, GMP, Safety,HACCP, Quality and all Company policies and proceudres. Evaluate and update the Production & Sanitation Department procedure manual and Master Sanitation Schedule to reflect changes in equipment design, new equipment, or changes in the cleaning process. Conduct training to reflect changes. Other duties as required.

Position Requirements

BS degree or equivalent experience with 5 or more years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.  Knowledge of plant operations, with experience in supervising employees and communicating effectively to acheive company goals. Must have the ability to positively motivate personnel and dsicipline when necessary. Working knowledge in C.I.P. cleaning techniques, would be helpful.
