The leader will manage and deliver actionable supply chain analytics projects with the goal of improving: cost efficiency, asset utilization, and customer service performance across Ventura's network.

The role will be responsible for conducting thorough analysis to identify root cause of business problems and provide recommendations on alternative ways of conducting business. The role will work cross functionally with multiple stakeholders to understand and analyze the business problem, develop innovative solutions and gain alignment on the recommendations provided.

Identifies, assesses & solves complex business problems for supply chain planning, where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.

Leads Ventura through complex problem-solving exercises and provides hands-on support for addressing new challenges for the business.

Develops tools for use both within the department and across the company that promotes continuous improvement within the Supply Chain.

Develop polished presentations appropriate for their intended audience. Uses proper visualization techniques to engage the audience. Able to tailor appropriate level and type of information to be presented based on audience.


Bachelors degree in Operations, Supply Chain, Logistics or related field or equivalent experience. Masters degree a plus.
5 - 10 years of experience in Operations/Supply Chain disciplines.
Demonstrated success in roles of progressive responsibility, including some experience managing projects.


1. Requires a deep level of experience & comfort with quantitative analysis and data manipulation with a focus on financial/costing analysis, statistical analysis, and logistics, manufacturing and/or service operating performance
2. Requires excellent communication skills - good structure and clarity in written, oral and presentation materials.
3. Advanced computer & analytic tools required, to include Microsoft Office Suite, database management and ERP system experience a must.
4. Experience working with Data Visualization tools is required
5. Experience working with Supply Chain Design tools is a plus (e.g. LLamasoft Guru, IBM/ILOG/LogicTools LogicNet+)

Position Requirements

This individual must have experience working with operations, sales, and marketing personnel.  Financial aptitude is a requirement, as is the ability to interact at all levels of the organization and handle multiple projects simultaneously.  Bachelors degree in business, Material Logistics Management or Supply Chain is a must, with 5-7 years experience in project leadership, preferably in a consumer products environment.  MBA preferred.  Strong leadership skills allowing incumbent to effectively manage complex and rapidly evolving situations.  Communication skills that allow for problem resolution, mediation, and the ability to successfully work in a team environment. Basic understanding of manufacturing systems and supply chain processes.  Advanced Excel skills.  Optimize current product commercialization systems, identify best practices and be able to present them to all levels of the organization with the intent of directing teams to an appropriate conclusion.  Work with Sales/Marketing/R & D/Ops to insure new projects and project implementation meets criteria of the market while optimizing timelines and cost, and maximizing plant operating parameters.
