Responsible for directing and coordinating the Production, Sanitation, Warehouse, Maintenance, and Scheduling Departments. Functions include coordinating efforts between departments to best service our customers, obtain plant goals, and meet budgets. Oversees assigned departmental efforts to assure a united effort to obtain objectives.. Monitors and guides assigned departments in budget management. Assists in maintaining maximum productivity of managers and supervisors, while maintaining a good working atmosphere. Ensures that company policies, GMP's, safety standards, and good housekeeping practices are followed within all assigned departments. Coordinates the hiring, discipline, and termination of plant employees with the Human Relations Manager to maintain consistent and fair standards for employee performance in the department. Coordinates with the Maintenance Manager and Production Manager to assure that machinery and equipment are kept in acceptable condition for efficient production. Helps coordinate R&D, Sales and Marketing requirements. Helps determine plant capabilities for new projects. Works with Managers and Supervisors to further develop their skills and value to the company.

Position Requirements Bachelors degree in Production Management, Business, related degree or equivalent experience. Prior Supervisory and/or Managerial experience is required. Food manufacturing experience of 5 to 10 years with a high degree of knowledge and expertise in Production, Packaging, Processing and Quality Control. Excellent planning and coordination skills are required. P.C. literate in Excel, Microsoft Word, Outlook, or equivalent programs are required. Must have proven ability to communicate with all levels of associates to achieve effective results. Able to train, educate, and motivate department managers and supervisors.
