Under general supervision, performs a variety of duties including but not limited to: Visual inspections of finished goods packaging. Including coding of the packages and cases to ensure correct date codes as well as UPC codes. Verifying weights of the packets of product and the seal integrity along with good record keeping and filing procedures. Must be able to distinguish colors and flavors of products. Other duties include clean up, and other duties as assigned.
Insure that in-process, and finished goods meet stringent customer and governmental food safety and appearance standards and specifications. Must be able to stand, walk and climb for long periods of time.

Must be able to work nights and weekends

Position Requirements Must have at least a High School diploma or equilivent, (chemistry background a plus). Laboratory experience in analytial or microbiological laboratory. Must be able to distinguish colors and be able to taste products for flavor evaluation. Good communication skills. Stand for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
