The Recreation Therapy Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, implementing, evaluating and directing a monthly program of activities for the children in our residential treatment program. He/she should have strong leadership skills and be able to create a shared vision in the delivery of evidence based and effective recreation services. The manager will be responsible for evaluating the effectiveness of activities, and planning individual and group recreation services that are in line with each client’s individualized treatment plan. The Recreational Therapy Manager will supervise three certified recreation therapists, and work directly with our leadership team to support our Positive Behavioral Intervention and Support (PBIS) initiative.
