Job Title:         Senior Payment Systems Representative                 

 

The position will serve as an expert in providing staff support related to all processes and products in Payment systems to include wire initiation and verification, CTR’s, Debit Banks, Payroll Deductions, TFD091 Report and Processes. Serve as expert for all card related inquiries for check, ATM, Consumer and Commercial credit cards in accordance with department and organization standards, policies, guidelines, regulation and controls and assist in departmental research and resolution.  The employee will participate in team activities and should serve on committees as needed. The incumbent must participate in and fully support Allegacy’s Sales and Service Culture while protecting the credit union’s assets.  The employee works with other members of the Payment Systems department and reports to the Card Services Supervisor.

 

 

Specific Accountabilities

 

  • Serve as escalation point for issues/problem resolution in providing staff support and backup related to all processes and products in Payment systems to include but not limited to:
    • Wire initiation and Verification 
    • CTR’s
    • Transfers
    • All Card Related Inquiries
    • Dispute/Fraud/CAMs Reorder process
    • Maintain Card stock and collateral  for all Card programs
    • Support Instant Issue Functionality ensuring Monthly Audit
    • Responsible for filing Visa Quarterly Operating Certificate
    • BSA reporting
  • Serve as expert in accordance with department and organization standards, policies, guidelines, regulation and controls to assist staff in problem research and resolution.
  • Assist Supervisor with Projects upon request
  • Maintain an understanding of how our operating systems and processes affect and are affected by our vendors’ systems to insure efficient and effective integration of those systems.
  • Assist in developing payment processes and procedures relying on working knowledge of organizational processes and structure to provide convenience and simplicity for payment products.
  • Review variety of reports to ensure proper processing is occurring, while proactively identifying problems and works to resolve issues in a timely manner  including, but not limited to :
    • TFD091
    • CD111-115
  • Effectively research a resolution for any system issues/concerns stemming from staff and member feedback and communicate with management.
  • Discover process improvement ideas
  • Track and maintain profitability reporting for card services
  • Develop and maintain product/service reports as requested
  • Serve as expert in VISA Data Manager developing and maintaining reports that support and drive profitable payment sources and initiatives 
  • Serve as expert ensuring billing allocations are handled efficiently and accurately
  • Comply with laws, regulations and policies that relate to credit union operations
  • Assist in other Payment System initiatives as requested
  • Serve as backup to departmental task to ensure SLA’s are obtained as required

 

 

 
Position Requirements

Education and Experience

  • Five to seven years of customer service/operation support
  • Card Related Experience preferred
  • Knowledge of VISA Regulations preferred
  • Financial Institution or Credit Union experience preferred.
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft products (Word, Excel) with the ability to create, manage, and modify spreadsheets.
