$18.80 PER HOUR FOR EXPERIENCED FULL TIME WAREHOUSE ORDER SELECTORS GREAT BENEFITS AFTER 90 DAYS The Anderson-DuBose Company is a locally run Distribution Company that is looking for Warehouse Selectors to help us serve our Customers. Anderson-DuBose is accepting applications for warehouse selectors to work in our Distribution Center. A warehouseperson is required to perform a number of duties throughout the warehouse. Their responsibilities include selecting and stacking products, stripping trailers, loading and unloading trailers, restocking products in the warehouse and housekeeping duties, among others. Each responsibility involves unique physical demands, most of which is manual handling of materials, and labor intensive. A considerable amount of strength and endurance is required of the individual to safely and successfully perform in this position. The strength and endurance demand is defined by the weight of the products handled and the high rate of frequency at which they are handled. Specifically, the amount of endurance required to perform in this position is equivalent to walking at a moderate to fast pace for the entire shift. The strength requirements are defined by the range of heights at which products are handled, and the weight of those products. In addition to manually handling products, the Warehouseperson must also be able to understand how to locate products in the warehouse based on the information provided on the product pick label. Further, the Warehouseperson is required to operate the equipment used to place the pallet loads of products into storage. Equipment training will be provided in house. A Warehouseperson is required to work in a number of departments where the ambient temperature varies greatly. For example, the temperature in the dry products section of the warehouse will vary between 65 and 90 degrees, according to the seasonal temperature. The ambient temperature in the Freezer is a controlled environment at –10 degrees, and the Cold Dock is controlled at 38 degrees. To be a successful warehouse candidate, you should have material handling equipment experience, be able to work any shift (including all days of the week and weekends), and be able to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding job. We provide extensive training with small class sizes. During training you will be exposed to all aspects of the job and you will work in all areas of the warehouse (the dry warehouse, cooler and the freezer).
