Payment Systems Representative 

Description

 

This position will assist in daily operations of the Payment Systems EFT Operations Department and is responsible for ensuring that essential card-related tasks are performed on a daily basis through the member service queue and processing member requests related to payroll, transfers and other deposit related account maintenance. 

The employee will provide staff support related to card processes and products serving as an expert in one of the following areas:  Check and ATM Card servicing, consumer and commercial Credit Card servicing.  The employee will participate in team activities and should serve on committees as needed. The incumbent must participate in and fully support Allegacy’s Sales and Service Culture while protecting the credit union’s assets.  The employee works with other members of the Payment Systems department and reports to the Card Services Supervisor.

  • Ability to balance/research end of day teller transactions
  • Problem solving skills
  • Excellent phone communication skills

 

 
Position Requirements

Education and Experience

  • Three to five years of payment systems and operations experience.
  • Specific training and knowledge of VISA Regulations highly desired.
  • Financial experience required, Credit Union experience preferred.
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft products; Word and Excel with the ability to manage and/or create spreadsheets.
