Sales Operations Manager

Category Sales and Marketing  

The Sales Operations manager is primarily responsible for daily support of SVP, RVP and AVP. Under limited direction, performs a variety of staff support services including client contract creation, data mining, matrix reporting, internal meeting requests and updates, and internal departmental coordination. This position serves as liaison with others internally and externally, and also:

  • Creates new client contracts, existing client documents, and other legal documents.  Ensures the proper distribution of all documents.
  • Schedules Internal Review Team weekly meetings and takes minutes at those meetings.
  • Manages Sales Force including: managing contacts, territory logistics and analyses, posting to SF user group via Chatter, Dashboard updates, Report generation for RVP/AVP.
  • Answers 1-800 sales line and forwards calls to appropriate person.
  • Receives and reviews Contact Us Online form submission. Determines appropriate sales territory and forwards information to the appropriate person.
  • Produces Monthly Board Report for the sales department. Coordinate with Financial Control and Sales Force to complete presentation slides on time and accurately.
  • Generates RIA reports using Meridian data.
  • Researches RIA firms for fit criteria.
  • Inventories and orders Sales/Marketing collateral
  • Plans sales events and coordinates participant registration, collateral use and equipment set up.
  • Knows the TCA technology platform as if fully capable of performing a demonstration of the system to prospective clients and partners.

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree required along with 2 years’ sales support experience.

Working knowledge of Salesforce, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Ability to work well within a team environment.  A positive attitude and a strong work ethic and the ability to work in an entrepreneurial environment are required.
