Description

SUMMARY

 

Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan. 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Lead the planning and implementation of projects
  • Facilitate the definition of project scopes, goals and deliverables
  • Define project tasks and resource requirements
  • Develop full scale project plans refining as necessary to meet changing needs and requirements
  • Assemble and coordinate project(s) staffs
  • Manage project(s) budget where appropriate
  • Manage project(s) resource allocation where appropriate
  • Plan and schedule project(s) timelines
  • Track project(s) deliverables using identified tools
  • Provide direction and support to project teams
  • Constantly monitor and report on progress of assigned projects to all stakeholders at all levels across the organization
  • Present reports defining project(s) progress, problems and solutions
  • Implement and manage project(s) changes and interventions to achieve outputs
  • Project evaluations and assessment of results
  • Ensures system analysis, decision rules, training, documentation, and communications are built into all projects
  • Applies significant knowledge of industry trends and developments to improve customer service
  • Communicate with all participants to follow-up that documentation is submitted in a timely manner
  • Consistently deliver high-quality service

 

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
 

  • Master’s degree from a regionally accredited university and two (2) years of experience in project management, or Bachelor's degree and three (3) years of experience and/or training in project management.
  • PMP certification from PMI.
  • Must demonstrate excellent customer service skills and maintain a positive, professional image.
  • Experience in higher education preferred.
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • Must be self-motivated as well as creative and efficient.
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Effective interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.
  • All skills, abilities and education will be considered for minimum qualifications.
