We are seeking a hands-on self-starter to research law, investigate facts and manage the administrative duties of the corporate legal department. Strong organizational and communication skills are required. 

This position is located at our corporate headquarters in Midtown Cleveland.

Job Duties

  • Review government contracts and provide feedback to attorneys and the commercial team. Negotiate terms under attorney supervision.
  • Review certain legal documents including but not limited to preliminary review of commercial terms and conditions for department attorneys, review and completion of customer confidentiality agreements.
  • Management of commercial reviews including UCC and existing case searches, including filing UCC-1 forms, monitoring inventory value and preparing continuation and termination statements.
  • Manage collection of unclaimed funds for subsidiaries.
  • Perform clerical duties such as file creation/ management, docketing and data management as well as other applicable administrative duties. 
  • Maintain accurate, complete and timely records of business transactions.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Participate in implementing goals and objectives.
  • Access to assets within area of responsibility is permitted only in accordance with general or specific authorization.
  • Work closely with other departments, divisions or associates on matters of mutual concern and responsibilities.
  • Write and deliver presentations and prepare reports as necessary.



Position Requirements
  • Two years of college study in related field or the equivalent paralegal certification.
  • One plus year of related business experience
