Technical Customer Support II 


Description

The successful candidate has experience with the administration and management of Microsoft solutions including Windows Server, Exchange Server and Active Directory as well as a strong working knowledge of the IP family of protocols. The successful candidate will have the ability to work independently in a fast paced environment, and will possess the following attributes:

  • Excellent troubleshooting skills
  • Microsoft Certification [MCP, MCSE]
  • Help Desk or call center experience
  • Four year college degree in any field (preferred)
  • Three or more years of on-the-job experience in an Information Technology capability
  • Strong understanding of networks; Local, Wide Area, VPN, Wireless
  • Strong knowledge of desktop operating systems and Microsoft productivity software (Office, Visio, PowerPoint, Adobe)
 

Position Requirements
  • Professionally respond to telephone calls, emails, and web-based requests for technical support.
  • Be responsible for tracking and monitoring open problems to insure service level standards are met
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of legacy, existing, and new PC hardware and software technology
  • Provide friendly courteous and quality hardware and software support.
  • Communicate with end-users and document for team members as to resolution steps taken.

 

The successful candidate absolutely must have exceptional customer service skills, including written and verbal communication, presentation and interpersonal skills; Help Desk experience is required. The successful candidate must also possess problem solving skills, excellent understanding of desktop operating systems, networking principles, with good organization and communication skills.
