Description

We're looking for an exceptional candidate to join our team in a fast paced, challenging, enterprise level environment. The project is in the midst of a major Windows 7 migration and looking for someone who has experience utliizing SCCM. This opportunity is for one of the biggest healthcare companies in Northern CA. The health industry is one of the major verticals in our economy right now and IT wihtin health care will be busy for the next projected decade.

MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH SCCM 2007 OR GREATER

-         Active Directory, SCCM 2007, Systems Engineering and Integration

-         Server Virtualization and P2V using VMware ESX and Microsoft Hyper-V

Responsibilities:

  • Windows 7 migration in an Active Directory environment
  • Desktop Installation
  • Responsible for PC hardware setup and configuration
  • Imaging new PC’s and laptops
  • Setup and Configuring desktop peripherals
  • Deploy and install applications
  • Documenting work for quality and tracking
 
Position Requirements

Required Knowledge and Experience:

-         SCCM application and O/S deployment and report writing expertise required.

-         Practical experience in a like size company and industry as typically acquired in 6 to 8 experience with Microsoft Windows  XP and 7 in a large  Active Directory environment

-         Skills and experience associated with installation, configuration and operation of Microsoft Windows Operating systems, Citrix suite of products and authentication methodologies and solutions, computer peripherals and mobile devices, and wireless communications

-         Performs in-depth technical evaluations, including requirements analysis and documentation, evaluation criteria development, writing test plans, performing product testing according to plan, and providing post-evaluation reporting on products and solutions

-         Networking: WAN, WLAN, LAN, VPN terminology

-         Knowledge of EPIC

-         Strong knowledge of VB Script

-         Imaging new PC's and Desktop Installation

-         Setup and Configuring desktop peripherals (HP Printer, Zebra Label Printers Symbol Barcode Readers)
