Share Email Opening Title Cook  Description SUMMARY Requires advanced culinary skills. This position requires decision making and supervisory skills to ensure the smooth running of the Grill. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES 1. Ability to produce a quality product on a consistent basis. 2. Get bank beginning of shift and return bank at close of shift. 3. Take patron/employee's food orders. 4. Conceptual understanding of advanced cooking skills. 5. Set kitchen up for day (date, label, and rotate), complete prep-list, and help put stock away as required. 6. Must have conceptual understanding of broiling, brazing, roasting, poaching, sauces and carving stations. 7. Quality taste check on food items being served to ensure highest quality levels at all times. 8. Must have working knowledge of food handling safety and sanitation. 9. Ability to run a station with minimal supervision. 10. Clean throughout shift (wash dishes, clean counter tops, mop floors, etc.) and maintains care and cleanliness of grill, kitchen equipment, walk-ins, etc. 11. Maintains a professional appearance at all times. 12. Ability to manage and supervise culinary and other staff as required. 13. Assumes/performs other duties as assigned.   Position Requirements QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
