Poker Dealer-Dual Rate 

Description Deal a variety of poker games to casino guests proficiently, courteously and accurately. Provide an entertaining experience for guests through superior service. Maintain a sound understanding of game play, rules, internal controls and gaming standards. Encourage repeat business, while maintaining game integrity. Initiate courteous and friendly conversation with customers. Provide basic education about the game or answer questions about game play protocol to customers when requested or as assigned in order to encourage game activity and repeat business. Information provided cannot be instructive or advisory on how or what cards should be played. Deal designated poker games in accordance with gaming rules, regulations and departmental standards for play, including pace of game, enforcement of game rules, shuffling cards, placement of bets, correct setting of hands. Perform computations quickly and accurately when determining winning and losing hands. Account for Table Tray Bank assigned for shift. Make financial transactions at assigned table, including making change, collecting and paying out bets. Balance bank at shift end. Provide game protection by keeping visual contact of all guests, game layout and game play; monitor the chips and money at the table. Respond to customer demands, requests or challenges to game play in a professional manner. Observe and apply gaming regulations, internal controls; comply with policies and procedures established for the department and CNC. Listen to guest complaints and resolve situations in an equitable manner to preserve CNC standards of customer service. Inform Table Games Shift Manger of important, relevant facts regarding specific players. Actively support current marketing promotions. Accurately administer and oversee poker games in assigned area and shift, such as maintaining table chip trays/bank roll, inspecting/changing equipment as deemed necessary, maintaining appropriate game spread, ensuring adequate inventory of gaming supplies for area, and generating various operating reports. Evaluate and supervise dealers and support staff to ensure objectives are accomplished and gaming rules, regulations and internal controls are followed. Open and close the Poker room on assigned shift; monitor games in progress to ensure dealing is fast, flawless, procedurally correct or there is no unusual/suspicious activity between player and dealer. Document and report noteworthy events to Table Games Shift Manager.

 
Position Requirements Must possess 3-5 years of casino dealing experience.  
Gaming License Must obtain and maintain a gaming license.
