  • Manage the Company’s default matrix process to include; preparing, analyzing, maintaining and monitoring customer price records while managing pricing execution, including data integrity and consistency as well as deviation requests from the service centers.

Job Duties

  • Proactive analysis, review and maintenance of the Company’s SAP Default Matrix based on sales trends while adhering to company margin enhancement goals and ensuring compliance for all government contracts.
  • Present findings of ongoing monthly performance reporting on SAP Default Matrix utilization and gross profit margin trends by Service Center, Region, Area and Country.
  • Develop, load and maintain government contract files based on written agreements.
  • Maintain a close working relationship with the Government group to ensure Government Contract compliance.
  • Assist in development of SAP Price Matrix analytic tools.
  • Assist in research / development of analytics for customer segmentation for margin elasticity (size, SIC, geography, etc.)
  • Maintain accurate, complete and timely records of business transactions.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Participate in formulating and successfully implementing goals and objectives.
  • Work closely with other departments, divisions or associates on matters of mutual concern and responsibilities.
  • Write and deliver presentations and prepare reports as necessary.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or directed.
  • Active involvement in the Company’s Total Quality Management process as evidenced by continuous improvement of processes directed toward reducing costs, improving cycle time, increasing sales / gross profit and customer satisfaction.
  • Carries out policies and procedures as defined in the quality manual.
  • Continuous development through reading, schools, seminars and on-the-job training.


Position Requirements
  • Equivalent to Bachelor’s degree in business related field with three plus years of proven pricing structure and techniques in a distribution environment.


  • Experience with SAP Pricing modules
  • Government Contract Compliance Experience
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel
