This is not a travel contract. A child welfare agency is seeking a dependable, adaptable, and detail-oriented Support Specialist for an immediate, temporary assignment. This role bridges direct client support and administrative case management. The ideal candidate must be capable of seamlessly fluctuating between serving as a non-clinical hospital sitter in a mental health facility and providing crucial case management support and administrative assistance. Flexibility is essential, including the ability to work 12-hour shifts for sitter duties, support weekend schedules, and adjust hours (early mornings or late evenings) based on agency needs. Key Responsibilities Provide non-clinical supervision, companionship, and reassurance to a hospitalized client. Maintain a calm, safe, and supportive environment. Remain engaged to observe and report behavior changes to medical staff. Complete, organize, and maintain accurate case management documentation and perform general administrative duties including uploading records into the computer system and assisting in obtaining authorizations.
