Foster Care Services/Resource Parent Support Worker II needed for Full-Time,Temp-to-Hire role in Philadelphia, PA.
We are seeking an experienced Resource Parent Support Worker II to provide case management and support services to foster families, children, youth, and biological families within our Foster Care Program. This position plays a key role in recruiting, licensing, and supporting resource foster homes while promoting safe, stable placements and permanency for children and youth from infancy through age 21.
Responsibilities include managing a caseload of 13-16 foster care/resource home cases, conducting intake assessments, developing service plans and progress reports, completing home safety visits and licensing documentation, maintaining compliant case files, coordinating with county and community partners, providing referrals and advocacy, and participating in foster parent recruitment, training, and licensing activities. The position also includes participation in an on-call rotation, attending team meetings and supervision, and maintaining accurate documentation in the agency's database.

BSW and 4–7 years of progressively responsible experience working with children, youth, and families in a human services setting. Experience with foster care, case management, licensing, or child welfare is strongly preferred. Candidates must have excellent organizational and communication skills, the ability to work a flexible schedule, and a valid driver's license with reliable transportation for travel throughout Philadelphia and surrounding areas. |
