Share Email Opening Title Child Care Substitute  About the Organization Our company was incorporated in 1984 within the State of North Carolina, and opened its doors for business in August of 1985. The company has continually grown to a point where we currently serve more than 600 individuals, and employ more than 1000 people across the state. Skill Creations is a human services agency that operates three service divisions. The ICF Division provides specialized long-term residential care to 191 individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities in 15 different towns in North Carolina. The Community Operations Division provides residential and non-residential services to persons with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities in their home community. The Child Development Division, with two locations in Goldsboro, provides high quality child care and preschool for children ages birth - 5 years. One center also offers after school care through age 12.   Description This is a part time/back-up position in which the employee will follow or assist with daily lesson/goal plans, help carry out routine care needs, maintain daily hygiene for children, supervise and maintain classroom management, meet the needs of care for all children and assure that the children are being treated in a safe and appropriate manner. This position will be based in a variety of classes of different ages and employees in this position will be working directly with young children between ages 6 weeks to 12 years. Employees must be available for scheduled dates for subbing as well as be available for call-ins when needed.   Position Requirements • High School Diploma• 1-2 years child care experience preferred• Must complete CPR/First Aid and Child Maltreatment training within 90 days of hire.• Must complete Health and Safety Trainings within 6 months of hire.     Full-Time/Part-Time Part-Time   Location Creative Academy   This position is currently not accepting applications.
