Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) – Personal Care

Full-Time | Overnight Shift (11:00 p.m. – 7:30 a.m.)
$21.00–$23.00 per hour

Pennswood Village, a Senior Living Community located in Newtown, PA - Bucks County - is seeking a compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our Personal Care team. What You'll Do

  • Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, and other personal care needs.
  • Administer medications safely and accurately in accordance with physician orders and established policies.
  • Observe residents and report changes in condition to the nursing team.
  • Support individualized care plans as part of an interdisciplinary team.
  • Accurately document resident care and medication administration and communicate effectively with nurses and other healthcare professionals.
  • Promote resident safety, comfort, dignity, and independence.
  • Follow established nursing policies and procedures while providing high-quality, person-centered care.

Position Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Current Pennsylvania Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
  • Medication Administration certification, or the bility to successfully complete Pennswood's DHS-approved Medication Administration Training Program within the first 30 days of employment (training provided by Pennswood Village.)
  • Ability to read, write, and follow oral instructions.
  • Previous related experience preferred.
  • Able to meet the physical demands of the position, i.e., bending, lifting a minimum of 20 lbs., transferring of patients.
 
Salary $22-$24 per hour
