LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse - Primary Care & Resident Services

Full Time, 64 hours bi-weekly

Pennswood Village, a Senior Living Community located in Newtown, PA - Bucks County -  is seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our Resident Health team. This position provides nursing support within the Resident Health Office and delivers professional nursing care to residents in their private apartments throughout our campus.

In this role, you will:

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care and health assessments to residents.
  • Support physicians and the Resident Health Office in coordinating resident care.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care as part of an interdisciplinary team.
  • Administer medications and perform clinical nursing procedures.
  • Accurately document care and communicate effectively with residents, families, physicians, and team members.
  • Promote resident safety, independence, dignity, and overall well-being.

Position Requirements

RN Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program.
  • Licensed to practice as an LPN in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
  • Additional education in physical assessment.

EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:

Prior experience in geriatrics preferred.

PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS:

Able to meet the physical demands of the position, i.e., lifting a minimum of 20 lbs., bending, transferring of patients. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
