Position Requirements

Ideal candidate is a mature, responsible, dependable individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment; is people-oriented; can handle multiple tasks simultaneously; and possesses a flexible schedule.  Excellent communication skills; the ability to make sound decisions quickly; and a cooperative and flexible nature are essential.  Individual must be self-motivated, detail oriented, and trustworthy.  Previous parking operations experience or cash handling experience is preferred but not required.


OBJECTIVE:  Ensure the highest level of customer service to our Guests by assisting with the efficient daily operation of COSI’s parking lots.  Support a culture of service aimed at providing a positive book-end experience for all guest visits to COSI.



  1. Ensure COSI’s parking lots are operating efficiently by providing a friendly and knowledgeable presence during guest arrival and departure.
    1. Assist guests with use of automated payment stations as needed
    2. Answer basic questions about COSI activities
    3. Utilize handheld point of sale system to process parking transactions efficiently to keep traffic moving into lots during pay-on-entry operations.
  2. Maintain a regular COSI presence in parking lots throughout the day, relaying information about challenges with operations as necessary - i.e. communicating with Guest & Safety Services if assistance is needed, contacting Grounds Maintenance for snow removal, etc.
  3. Provide a superior level of Guest service by being a positive role model in punctuality, dress, and attitude.
  4. Maintain accuracy in all cash handling transactions.
  5. Support general COSI operations through participation in meetings as appropriate.
  6. Serve as an example to other COSI Team Members in matters of appearance, attitude, and performance in a manner best serving COSI paid and Volunteer Team Members and Guests.
  7. In accordance with COSI's Guest Services Strategy, and as opportunities present themselves, provide excellence in Guest Services by assuring Guest safety, using courtesy to drive each Guest interaction, by delivering the COSI show, and by keeping operations efficient.
  8. Perform other duties as assigned by the Parking Operations Manager, the Parking Operations Team Leader, and the Director of Guest Relations.
