Description

The ideal candidate brings deep experience in oilfield services, multi-entity financial management, and a strong understanding of operational cost drivers in field-based environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide executive leadership over all financial functions across three affiliated companies
  • Oversee financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and cash flow management
  • Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with company growth objectives
  • Consolidate and analyze financial data across multiple entities for ownership reporting
  • Lead month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Assist in managing relationships with banks, auditors, tax advisors, and insurance providers
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP, federal/state regulations, and industry-specific requirements
  • Partner with operations leadership to improve cost control, efficiency, and profitability
  • Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and billing functions
  • Support contract review, risk management, and financial due diligence
  • Drive implementation of financial systems, reporting tools, and process improvements
  • Provide leadership and development for accounting teams

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)
  • 10+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, including Controller or senior finance roles
  • Oil & Gas or Oilfield Services industry experience strongly preferred
  • Proven experience managing multiple entities or business units
  • Strong knowledge of job costing, equipment utilization, and field operations finance
  • Experience with multi-state operations and regulatory environments
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams and influence executive decision-making
  • Advanced proficiency in financial systems, QuickBooks Expert and Excel
