OCU offers degree programs for residential undergraduate students, graduate students, and adult and online students.   Position Golf Graduate Assistant   Location Main Campus   Full-Time/Part-Time Part-Time   Description Golf Graduate Assistant Department Athletics Building/Location Maxwell Center - Main Campus Supervisor Athletic Director/Head Coach Months Per Year 12 Hours Per Week 20 Benefits Part-Time Salary Position Summary The Graduate Assistant for Golf supports the coaching staff in all aspects of the program while pursuing a graduate degree at the institution. This role provides hands-on experience in coaching, recruiting, student-athlete development, and administrative operations within a collegiate Golf program. The GA may also assist the Athletics Department and the Athletic Director as needed. Participation in institutional chapel services is expected, reflecting the university's values and mission. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to: Coaching & Player Development Assist the head coach and staff with daily practices, drills, and game preparation Analyze game and practice film to provide feedback to players and coaching staff Mentor and support student-athletes academically and spiritually Help with strength and conditioning programs as directed Recruiting & Administrative Support Assist with recruiting efforts, including communications, travel planning, and hosting prospective student-athletes Maintain recruiting databases and compliance records Help organize team schedules, travel arrangements, and logistics Support compliance with NCCAA and institutional rules Help organize fundraising events and service projects Game & Event Operations Support game-day operations, including stats tracking, scouting reports, and team coordination Assist with team events, camps, clinics, and community outreach programs Contribute to promotional and marketing efforts for the program Faith & Community Engagement Attend and actively participate in institutional chapel services Support and promote the university's mission, values, and faith-based community initiatives Additional Responsibilities Perform other duties as assigned by the Head Coach or Athletic Director REQUIRED MINIMUM Qualifications According to Ohio Christian University employment policy, all employees must possess a strong Christian commitment and adhere to the standards outlined in the OCU Community Lifestyle Statement.
