Asa Carlton is a commercial construction company specializing in turnkey interiors, ground-up construction, and multi-site retail programs for leading brands. Within our fixture and merchandising reset division, we support large-scale retail execution for clients such as Home Depot, Ross, and Publix.

Asa Carlton, Inc. is seeking a Project Coordinator to support day-to-day operations within its fixture and merchandising reset division. This role is part of the company’s Multi-Site Retail Program and supports projects for leading retail clients including Home Depot, Ross, and Publix.

Working closely with the Project Manager, the Project Coordinator helps drive successful execution by coordinating scope, materials, schedules, budgets, manpower, reporting, and client communication. This is a 100% travel position, with the majority of time spent on the road supporting reset teams in the field and helping ensure each project is executed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, detail-oriented, and confident leading in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.

Key Responsibilities

Partner with the Project Manager to support the successful execution of retail fixture and merchandising reset projects

Travel full-time to support 4 to 6 reset teams in the field and help drive high-quality execution across multiple active job sites

Participate in pre-construction meetings and site reviews to assess project plans, requirements, and readiness

Order, track, and coordinate materials needed to complete assigned projects

Develop scopes of work and project schedules or critical paths for each assigned project

Attend punch walks and help ensure projects are completed, documented, and signed off on time

Maintain schedules for multiple crews and balance workload to support efficient project execution

Train and support Project Leads and field employees while helping build a productive, professional, and high-performing team environment

Promote a strong culture of safety by reinforcing expectations, identifying concerns, and supporting safe work practices on every project

Review client-provided reset materials and communicate updates, changes, and priorities to field teams

Track, document, and report field issues using project management software

Provide timely, meaningful feedback on team performance, project execution, and field needs to both Project Leads and management

Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, field teams, and internal stakeholders

Position Requirements

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required

2+ years of relevant experience in construction, retail resets, field operations, or project coordination

Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills

Ability to manage multiple priorities and perform effectively under tight deadlines

Ability and willingness to travel 100% of the time, with the majority of work performed on the road and in the field

Confidence working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment with field teams across multiple job sites

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trust, promote accountability, and support a positive team culture

Sound judgment and decision-making skills, with the ability to assess situations and take appropriate action

Ability to maintain professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
