Description

Responsible for assisting the Information Technology Department with maintenance and support of computer systems and software, maintaining confidentiality at all times. Assist with managing network user accounts & email. Assist with managing video conferencing network and related hardware. Assist IT staff with deployment of computer hardware & related supplies to all agency locations. Troubleshoot computer related hardware & software issues. Deploy, update, and support software as needed. Maintain new network solutions as needed. Travel to remote agency sites as needed, managing computer & network needs at those sites. Provide assistance with special projects as needed, i.e. annual reports, PowerPoint presentations, etc. This is a full-time position with benefits.

 
Position Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field Perferred. Extensive knowledge and proficiency in computer trouble shooting, maintenance, application software support. Must have extensive knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems. Working knowledge of network operating systems. Good written and oral communication skills. Good organizational and time management skills. Ability to lift 25 pounds, with our without reasonable accommodation. Willingness and ability to travel and use personal transportation in work capacity. Willingness to work flexible hours.

About the Organization CMCSB was formed in 1972 as a Chapter 10 Community Services Board under Virginia law. CMCSB provides mental health, intellectual disabilities and substance abuse treatment services to the residents of Buchanan, Russell, and Tazewell Counties. At the present time, CMCSB operates over twenty locations, to include outpatient offices, mental health recovery programs, group homes and day support programs for intellectually disabled individuals, and a residential alcohol and drug treatment program. In addition, CMCSB has several services that are provided directly in an individual's home or in a supported environment. CMCSB also provides a 24-hour crisis team to assist community agencies and individuals in crisis situations. CMCSB employs approximately 500 employees, which include full-time and part-time employees, as well as individuals receiving services who are employed to work in various day programs.
