The Manager, Marketing Partnerships plays a critical role in aligning AREA15’s internal marketing strategies with the promotional efforts of our tenant partners, ticket distributors, and sponsors. This individual serves as the primary marketing point of contact for all tenants, sponsors, brokers, and external partners across the AREA15 ecosystem. This highly collaborative, relationship-driven role ensures cross-functional cohesion across all marketing and PR initiatives while maximizing mutual value for AREA15 and its ecosystem of partners. From preventing cannibalization in media buys to expanding our reach through ticketing platforms and managing third-party collaborations, this individual is the connector, the communicator, and the catalyst for smarter, more impactful partnerships. This position reports to the Director of Brand Marketing.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Cultivate and manage relationships with third-party ticket distributors, online travel agencies (OTAs), brokers, third-party event sponsors and concierge platforms to increase pass and bundle sales.
  • Identify new distribution opportunities and negotiate terms to expand visibility and conversion.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to optimize listings, placements, and pricing strategies for AREA15 attractions and experiences across partner platforms.
  • Act as the primary marketing liaison to all AREA15 tenants, anchor attractions, on-campus partners, brokerage and sponsorship partners.
  • Proactively identify and pitch potential third-party sponsors for AREA15 programming and events, managing outreach from initial contact through activation.
  • Ensure consistent communication around campaign timing, messaging, and media planning to avoid duplication or competitive bidding on paid placements.
  • Lead joint planning meetings to identify collaborative marketing opportunities and streamline go-to-market strategies.
  • Develop systems to track and share marketing calendars, key dates, and activations between AREA15 and tenants.
  • Serve as the lead marketing point of contact for all pop-up activations, sponsorships, and external event partners producing ticketed experiences within AREA15.
  • Support the onboarding of sponsors, pop-ups and partners by providing clear marketing guidelines, integration points, and brand support.
  • Work cross-functionally with PR, digital, and experiential teams to ensure third-party activations are properly promoted and aligned with AREA15’s brand standards.
  • Act as a project manager and advocate to ensure third-party campaigns are on track and deliver value to both AREA15 and the partner.
  • Be available to respond to time sensitive matters.
  • Demonstrate ART! (AREA15's service standards) in every guest interaction.
  • Adhere to department and company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a professional, polished appearance in line with AREA15 standards.
  • Work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Perform other work-related duties as assigned.

Position Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • Applicants must be 21 years of age or older
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
  • Comfortable working in a creative, entrepreneurial start-up environment, introducing new concepts and innovations.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in strategic marketing, partnerships, or brand management—preferably within the entertainment, attractions, or hospitality industries
  • Demonstrated success fostering long-term partner relationships and managing multi-stakeholder projects
  • Familiarity with ticketing platforms, OTA ecosystems, and experiential marketing trends
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset
  • A collaborative spirit with a deep appreciation for immersive and experience-based marketing
  • Ability to understand, speak, read, and write the English language.
  • Computer skills in Microsoft applications. (Excel, Outlook, Word, etc.)
  • Availability for varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to work in an environment subject to varying levels of noise, crowds, flashing lights, and smoke.
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions including but not limited to extreme heat, sun exposure, wind, rain, extreme cold.
