Looking for a dynamic role at a fast-growing IT Services company that’s a national leader in the legal IT market? We are looking for someone with business and technical savvy plus entrepreneurial spirit to help lead business development in a key region.  This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is highly technical but wants to grow his/her business and sales skills.

As Managing Director, you will be responsible for growing mindSHIFT’s presence in the Philadelphia and Wilmington markets.  This includes defining and selling project-based and managed IT solutions to clients that meet their needs.  Possessing knowledge and a passion for technology is a key to success in this role since our clients see us as their trusted advisors.  Additionally, you must enjoy spending time in the market to understand customer problems, and finding opportunities we are uniquely positioned for. 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Maintain relationships with existing clients
  • Prepare quotations based on clients’ needs
  • Sell with integrity into the Philadelphia and Wilmington markets
  • Manage and deliver projects
  • Provide hands-on billable consultingSeek to obtain target profitability for the regionDirectly manage a team of engineers
  • Possess and keep current your technical acumen
  • Attend trade conferences and marketing events
  • Build relationships with key vendors in the region
 
Position Requirements
  • BA/BS degree in Business or a technical field.  Extensive work experience may be considered in-lieu of degree(s).
  • 5 or more years engineering experience showing progression to technical lead, sales engineer, or technical project manager
  • Strong knowledge in one or more key technologies from Microsoft, Citrix, or Cisco.
  • Demonstrated experience working with technology vendors.
  • Proven track record of successfully deploying technologies.
  • Strong business sense and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills with a demonstrated ability to execute against multiple projects and excel in a fast-paced, results-oriented work environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to communicate, influence and present at all levels of the organization and with customers and partners.
