Description

There are Assistant Director positions for Outreach and Case Management. Each position supports housing placement operations, with a focus on engaging and servicing individuals experiencing unsheltered homelessness and connecting them to transitional and permanent housing.

These role works closely with internal leadership, outreach teams, public agencies, and community partners to ensure effective service delivery. Responsibilities include oversight of outreach strategies, emergency response coordination, and staff supervision. The position also supports implementation of evidence-based practices such as Housing First and Harm Reduction.

The schedule is primarily weekday business hours, with flexibility required to support 24/7 operations, emergencies, and special initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise staff and provide ongoing coaching and support
  • Implement and oversee engagement strategies
  • Ensure high-quality service delivery and adherence to best practices
  • Provide crisis intervention and support incident management
  • Coordinate services across internal teams and external partners
  • Guide staff in managing complex client situations and de-escalation
  • Monitor documentation, reporting, and compliance requirements
  • Support a results-driven culture focused on housing placement outcomes
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to strengthen program operations

Compensation

  • Salary range: $75,000 - $82,000 annually
  • Full-time

 
Position Requirements

Qualifications

  • Licensed Master Social Worker (or equivalent) required
  • Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience
  • Strong knowledge of Housing First, Harm Reduction, and trauma-informed care
  • Experience with crisis intervention and risk assessment
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ability to learn new systems
  • Valid driver’s license preferred
  • Bilingual skills preferred
