Share Email Opening Title 725 Bus Person  Location Shingobee on the Bay   Description POSITION SUMMARY Responsible for the prompt removal of all plates and utensils upon a guest finishing their meals to ensure expeditious service in the restaurant.   ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS RESPONSIBILITIES: Remains courteous and friendly to guests during their entire visit and always acknowledges a departing guest. Adheres to service timing standards to ensure guest satisfaction. Knows the menu and daily specials. Maintains a clean workstation, equipment, and work area to ensure compliance with OSHA standards. Assists with food line setups and other food preparations as necessary. Is aware of marketing promotions and events, machine locations, and other guest services. Provides answers to guests’ questions and inquiries about the restaurant and casino. Maintains knowledge of all events in the property as a whole. Attends and/or facilitates all mandatory meetings and training. Maintains confidentiality at all times. Is sensitive to Native American Culture. Operates within the parameters of the Leech Lake Gaming Human Resource Policy, Departmental Policy Manual and all Tribal Internal Controls (TICs), and all other applicable regulations. Secures the assets of Leech Lake Gaming and the Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe. Performs other duties as assigned.     Position Requirements KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Must be dependable and reliable. Ability to work flexible hours, rotating shifts, weekends and holidays. Must be able to interact with the public. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to lift a minimum of 10 pounds. Must be able to stand for long periods of time. Subject to internal working conditions, including a heat and smoking environment as well as an alcohol establishment. EDUCATION AND SKILLS Education Required: None Education Preferred: High School Diploma or General Education Equivalency (GED). Experience: Previous food service experience preferred, but not necessary.
