Description

Summary:

Responsible for performing cashier duties as well as seating guests.

 

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain rotation seating based on awareness of the floor status.
  • Keep area stocked, clean, and organized at all times.
  • Answer phones; take reservations.
  • Perform cashier duties as needed using proper cash handling procedures.
  • Ensure completion of side work.
  • Provide outstanding customer service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
 
Position Requirements

Qualifications

  • Prior experience of standard rules of service, table setups, and restaurant operations preferred.
  • InfoGenesis experience desirable.
  • One-year food service restaurant experience preferred.
  • Cash handling experience preferred.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Must be at least 16 years of age; exception – Moon Shadow Grill must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company.
  • Verify right to work in the United States.

Physical Requirements

  • Frequently required to walk and stand for long periods.
  • Use hands to hold tools utilized for position.
  • Reach with hands and arms.
  • Occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • Frequently lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.

 

 

Work Environment Conditions

The work environment is characterized as a restaurant setting where standard kitchen equipment will be supplied and used as a part of the job. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud. The immediate work environment does have a smoking section as well as a smoking environment in the building.
