SUMMARY

In this role, you will review loan files in accordance with established policies and procedures to mitigate risk. This position requires on-site work.
QUALIFICATIONS | EDUCATION | EXPERIENCE | SKILLS

- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Bachelor’s degree in business or accounting is required or
- Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of applicable banking experience required.
- Credit Analysis experience preferred.
- Proficiency with Outlook, Word, Excel, typing, 10-key, and utilization of the internet is required.
- Commitment to demonstrating Core 5 values with customers and coworkers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Adhere to all department and company policies and procedures and follow applicable banking regulations.
- Evaluate credit decisions and assigned risk ratings; verify the accuracy and timeliness of repayments, covenant compliance, and ongoing loan monitoring while ensuring all actions comply with applicable loan policies, procedures, legal requirements, and regulatory standards.
- Prepare and submit all required reports to management in an accurate and timely manner.
- Assist with FDIC and ASBD bank examinations by coordinating and preparing all necessary documentation before and after the review.
- Review income documentation, business financials, and personal financial statements to determine applicant risk in accordance with lending standards.
- Evaluate all aspects of required due-diligence checkpoints, including automated underwriting findings, LTV calculations, credit reports, applications, income/asset documentation, and appraisal reports—to ensure loans meet policy and procedural standards.
- Verify the accuracy of risk ratings using Excess workbooks and provide detailed written support and recommendations, clearly documenting findings and any identified credit weaknesses.
- Independently complete assigned reviews while meeting productivity, quality, and timeliness standards
- Protect all customer information and bank operations through strict confidentiality.
- Operate computer software and equipment, telephone, scanner, and copier, and develop proficiency with internal banking systems.
- Maintain reliable transportation, punctual attendance, and the ability to work on-site with extended hours when necessary.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
