Description

Substance Use Therapist needed for part-time, on site and remote position in South Jersey.

A Substance Use Therapist provides short-term, evidence-based therapeutic support to individuals in Early Intervention Support Services, addressing co-occurring mental health and substance use needs and linking to an APN for medication management when appropriate. They utilize modalities such as MI, CBT, Solution-Focused Therapy, and IMR to promote stabilization and meaningful progress. The clinician also collaborates on innovative engagement initiatives and ensures seamless linkage to ongoing care and community resources upon program completion.

  • Assist with co-occurring stabilization for those we serve. Link to APN if medication is needed
  • Utilize assessment and evidence-based modalities to ensure the most successful outcome for the individual's needs (MI, CBT, Solution-focused, IMR, etc.)
  • Participate in innovative initiatives designed to engage families and communities in treatment
  • Ensure proper service linkage to the appropriate level of care and flow upon exiting our 30-day Early Intervention Support Service
 
Position Requirements

NJ LSW or LCSW with CADC or LCADC. Must have two years of postmaster experience. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and strong clinical perspectives. Engage in the Team approach and strength-based initiatives with our team members and our EISS Co-Occurring population.
