This role is critical to ensuring client mail is processed accurately, efficiently, and delivered to the USPS on time. This is a hands-on, fast-paced position. The ideal candidate is dependable, works with a sense of urgency, and takes ownership of their work from start to finish. If you prefer staying busy, working independently while still contributing to a team, and being part of a process that directly impacts daily operations—this role is for you. What You’ll Do As a Meter Machine Operator, you are responsible for the full operation and output of your assigned metering equipment. This includes setup, processing, quality control, and packaging of mail. Key Responsibilities: Set up and operate mail metering equipment according to job specifications Accurately input client data and ensure proper postage and processing settings Load and unload mail efficiently while maintaining production flow Monitor mail quality throughout processing and identify any defects or issues Package completed mail and prepare trays for USPS automation Adjust quickly to changing workloads, priorities, and job requirements Work independently while maintaining communication with supervisors and team members Escalate equipment or quality issues promptly   What We’re Looking For We are not just looking for someone to “run a machine.” We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, understands the importance of accuracy, and shows up ready to contribute every day.
