In this role, you will work with the Chief Compliance Officer by ensuring compliance with the Home Mortgage Disclosure Act and Regulation B under the Equal Credit Opportunity Act, including reviewing and recording loan data, issuing required notices, and ensuring accurate and timely regulatory reporting. This position requires on-site work.

- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Associates degree preferred.
- 1-2 years of HMDA reporting compliance or relevant experience preferred.
- Proficiency with Outlook, Word, Excel, typing, 10-key, and utilization of the internet is required.
- Commitment to demonstrating Core 5 values with customers and coworkers.
HOURS OF AVAILABILITY: Regularly Scheduled Hours/Week: 40+ hours | Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm | *Extended working hours may be required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain knowledge of products, programs, operations, systems, and controls and compliance regulations while working closely with the Compliance Department to ensure notices are compliant with applicable laws and regulations.
- Review and log all non-originated loans for HMDA applicability and issue required daily Regulation B notices.
- Ensure accurate information is collected and entered into the Loan Operating System for each covered loan/application.
- Review mortgage data to confirm accuracy in secondary-market application reports.
- Gain regulatory knowledge including but not limited to all federal and state consumer protection laws, privacy, safeguarding customer information, Regulation B, Equal Credit Opportunity, Fair Lending Laws, Community Reinvestment Act, HMDA, flood regulations, and all related HMDA and Reg B policies.
- Protect all customer information and bank operations through strict confidentiality.
- Operate computer software and equipment, telephone, scanner, and copier, and develop proficiency with internal banking systems.
- Maintain reliable transportation, punctual attendance, and the ability to work on-site with extended hours when necessary.
- Additional duties may be assigned by management.
