Description

The Full-Time Reunification Support Coach Supervisor oversees a team of five coaches, managing daily operations to ensure a parent-centered approach to child welfare reunification. This role involves mentoring staff in the use of Goal Action Plans (GAPs), monitoring case progress, and providing direct guidance on motivational interviewing and trauma-informed care. The Supervisor bridges the gap between field work and administration by reviewing court reports, auditing case files for compliance, and maintaining vital partnerships with Community Umbrella Agencies (CUAs) and Family Court. The RSCS facilitates professional development, leads unit meetings, and ensures all data reporting meets agency and DHS standards.

 
Position Requirements

MSW with 5–6 years of supervisory or case management experience in child welfare, specifically within the Philadelphia DHS ecosystem. This position requires a self-motivated leader with superior analytical skills and the flexibility to work evenings or Saturdays as needed. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to travel across the county for court appearances and community site visits are essential.
