First Security Bank is currently seeking a motivated and team-oriented professional to join our dynamic Electronic Banking Department as a Fed line Processor. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, values accuracy, and enjoys working collaboratively to support essential banking functions.
Under direct supervision, support the department by processing incoming and outgoing wires over the Fed Line, while monitoring, documenting, and reconciling all related activity as well as coordinating daily settlements with correspondent banking personnel. This position requires on-site work.

- High School Diploma or GED will be required at the completion of your graduating year.
- Associates and/or bachelor's degree related to business and/or finance preferred.
- 1-2 years of customer service, relevant banking, and/or professional experience is preferred.
- Proficiency with Outlook, Word, Excel, typing, 10-key and internet navigation required.
- Commitment to demonstrating Core 5 values with customers and coworkers.
HOURS OF AVAILABILITY: Regularly Scheduled Hours / 40 hours per week | Availability between Monday- Friday 7:00am - 5:30pm (Rotates 7:00am-4:00pm, 8:00am-5:00pm, 8:30am-5:30pm) | *Extended working hours may be required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge and proficiency in bank operations and wire transfer policies and procedures, ensuring all activities are conducted in strict compliance with internal controls, as well as applicable state and federal regulations.
- Serve as the primary contact for communication with the Federal Reserve Bank regarding approved Fed line applications.
- Monitor outgoing wires and ACH originating files for potential fraud; identify fraud alerts and escalate suspicious activity to management.
- Ensure timely completion of daily operational tasks while maintaining accurate and comprehensive documentation in accordance with bank policies and regulatory standards.
- Perform end-of-day balancing with the Federal Reserve and wire platform; resolve wire validation errors, rejections, audit exceptions, and customer inquiries.
- Assist customers, officers, management, and bank employees regarding wire and ACH inquiries.
- Protect all customer information and bank operations through strict confidentiality.
- Operate computer software and equipment, telephone, scanner, copier, and develop proficiency with internal banking systems.
- Maintain reliable transportation, punctual attendance, and the ability to work on-site with occasional extended hours when necessary.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Possess sufficient mobility to work in a standard office setting. Perform repetitive hand, arm, wrist, and finger movements while handling currency, documents and/or office equipment. Substantial time may be spent on the telephone, operating computers, reaching, sitting, and/or standing; while occasionally stooping, kneeling or crouching. The employee must have the ability to speak and hear well enough to carry on customer interactions, conversations, and presentations both in-person and over telecommunications. Have near/far visual acuity to identify customers, currency and reading materials in printed or electronic format. The employee must occasionally lift and move up to 10 pounds.
