This is a full-time, in-office position responsible for supporting operations by ensuring materials and services are purchased accurately, efficiently, and at competitive prices. Key Responsibilities Prepare and issue purchase orders for goods and services by comparing specifications, pricing, and vendor options. Negotiate with vendors to obtain competitive pricing and favorable delivery timelines. Manage purchasing activities by submitting orders, tracking order status, and expediting deliveries when necessary. Verify incoming shipments by comparing items ordered to items received and resolve discrepancies with suppliers or vendors. Enter purchasing and order information accurately into the company’s corporate system. Maintain organized records by sorting, filing, and managing purchasing documentation. Communicate with the corporate office regarding accounts, invoices, and purchasing records. Assist with maintaining strong vendor relationships and ensuring timely delivery of materials. Minimum Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Purchasing Agent or in a similar purchasing/procurement role. Ability to work full-time in an office setting (this position is not remote). Strong computer and data entry skills. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to communicate effectively with vendors and internal teams. Valid driver’s license. Reliable transportation and ability to commute to the Ijamsville, MD office daily. Compensation: Minimum Hourly Rate $24.00 Maximum Hourly Rate $26.00 per hour The hourly rate is dependent upon experience.    Position Requirements All candidates must pass a Pre-Employment Drug Test, which includes Marijuana. Medical Marijuana Cards are not acceptable as a Federal Contractor.  All candidates must have a valid driver's license. All candidates must be able to commute to Ijamsville, MD daily.
